Indian Road

Residence

Boulder, CO

This single family residence is surrounded by sprawling fields, lucious trees, and has a view of the iconic Flatirons and mountains to the West. Built in 1964, this property features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 17,906 sq ft lot, and 1,596 sq ft of living space. In 2009, the home suffered severe structural damage and became uninhabitable.

This client was looking to open up the public spaces, upgrade the bathrooms and closets, create a master suite, fix the structural damage, install radiant heated floors, upgrade all interior and exterior finishes and enhance the home's entrance. JL Interiors took this home from as-builts through construction.  Within this space, the client wanted to revive the wood floors and play into the surrounding natural beauty by incorporating earth tones and textures. Custom features like the built cabinetry that borders the rough cut, stacked stone fireplace are accented with silhouettes of the owner's favorite fishing and hiking mountains, Mt. Elbert and Mt. Massive. Following the remodel, this house doubled in value.
