The Lake House

Residence

Boulder, CO

This spacious residence has been designed to echo the stunning natural features that surround the property. To the West, views of the Flatirons and Valmont Butte. To the East, a beach along a private lake. This property has endless possibilities to entertain both in and out of the home. Built in 1980, the property is due for a full remodel while still maintaining unique characteristics of the home, such as the 2-story sunroom with waterfall that greets guests and is a focal point to most of the public spaces.

The house will be opened up to take in views from every window by raising the roof pitch in the Sunroom, removing several walls, moving the stairs for a grand descent to the game room and beach access. All of this creates an open concept flow within the home.

Throughout the space, wainscoting meets shades of blues and creams, sandstone tiles and warm wood floors. Stone accents on the wall and within the tile patterns complete palette while merging the Colorado landscape with the soothing beach home aesthetic.
